AWARENESS EVENT FOR THALASSEMIA AND SICKLE CELL DISEASE

About the Project

The awareness event on Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Disease will be held on Saturday 18 March 2023 in Thessaloniki, at the Grand Hotel Palace Hotel. The conference, which is organized in cooperation with the Thalassaemia & Sickle Cell Disease Unit of the Hippocratio General Hospital of Thessaloniki and the Hellenic Thalassaemia Association, will present and discuss the latest medical data on Thalassaemia and Sickle Cell Disease, new treatments, clinical trials and treatment protocols and the management of complications.

The invitation is addressed by the Head of the Thalassemia & Sickle Cell Disease Unit of the General Hospital Hippokratio, Efthymia Vlahaki, and the President of the Hellenic Thalassemia Association, Vassilios Dimos.
