The 9th conference of the Counselling Psychology branch of ELPSE, which is organized by the Department of Education and Social Work of the University of Patras, November 6-9, aims to search for current trends and future perspectives of the field, as they are shaped through theory, research and practice. The conference offers the opportunity for experienced and young researchers and practitioners to present their positions on the orientation of Counselling’s action in the present and the future, in an ever-expanding range of theories, methods, competences and demands. Our expectation is that the conference will contribute to the promotion of relevant research, enhance interdisciplinarity, highlight the need for a reflective-critical approach to existing methods and practices, and illuminate the multiple, and sometimes unseen, aspects of Counselling Psychology.
