The 7th Panhellenic Conference of Developmental Psychology entitled “From the first small steps to the big steps of life, society and culture” is organized by the Department of Early Childhood Education and Care and the Department of Social Work of the University of West Attica, as well as by the Developmental Psychology Branch of the Hellenic Psychological Society.

Topics will include cognitive, social, emotional, linguistic and motor development of humans from conception to the end of life, topics that bridge theory with practice, with practical applications and interventions in the community and in education as well as other social contexts.

The organizers invites psychologists, educators, social workers, anthropologists, sociologists, pediatricians, child psychiatrists, scientists from the broader field of health, welfare and education and students of related disciplines and anyone who is interested in the nature, processes and mechanisms of human development,  to get together and be part of a conference that aims for the improvement of daily life and the maximization of human potential.
