SYMVOLI collaborated with the Heinrich Boell Institute for the 8th Congress of Young Europeans entitled ‘Independence Days: Our challenges, our responses‘.
This year’s theme captured the defining struggles and battles that this generation faces, ranging from basic care and mental health fragility to affordable housing, gender rights and labor insecurity all the way to political underrepresentation. Young minds and facilitators across Europe came together for a 4-day conference to critically address these issues in a series of workshops and panels and put forward their own solutions.
The motivation for a brighter tomorrow led 100 delegates fill the halls of Olympion Theatre, the Glasshouse of Thessaloniki’s Port and Agora Modiano with fresh ideas, insights and information that will hopefully help them shape a better future.
