On its first Christmas with the city’s public, the Modiano Market could not but celebrate in its own way!

SYMVOLI | Conference and Cultural Management, acting as the Event Management partner of Fais Group, designed and implemented a detailed festive program, including a variety of musical sounds but also storytelling, Christmas craft workshops and themed games to fill the corridors with the spirit and mood of Christmas. The events are spread throughout the Christmas period, from 16 December 2022 to 08 January 2023, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the city’s largest covered food market.

About Modiano Market and Fais Group

The iconic Agora Modiano, an important landmark of Thessaloniki, enters a new era. After six years of absence, the historic Modiano Market in Thessaloniki reopened on Monday 5 December, with a surprise every day for the entire festive season. Its aim is to once again become the Central Food Market of Thessaloniki and at the same time a place of social interaction, culture, gastronomy and events. The Modiano Market is the first designated monument in Greece to be reconstructed and handed over for use by the citizens of Thessaloniki and its visitors. A lifelong landmark of Thessaloniki, as started by its founder, Eli Modiano, in 1922 and continued today by the Fais Group.
