Qualitative Research on Mental Health:
Trajectories Towards a New Era

The 8th Qualitative Research in Mental Health Conference (QRMH8) took place online on September 9-11, 2021. The conference is jointly chaired by Angela Abela, University of Malta and Maria Borcsa, University of Applied Sciences Nordhausen in cooperation with national and international colleagues.

The Qualitative Research on Mental Health conference has been established as an international trans-disciplinary forum for dedicated qualitative research on a range of topics in the field of mental health, using a variety of methodologies and approaches.

Previous conferences attracted strong international interest from a diversity of backgrounds, including service users, health and social care professionals, social scientists and health policy makers, and created a space for lively and enriching discussions.
