9th Qualitative Research in Mental Health Conference (QRMH9)

The 9th Qualitative Research in Mental Health Conference (QRMH9)  took place in Budapest, Hungary on August 31-September 2, 2023. The conference was jointly chaired by Viola Sallay, University of Szeged and Zsuzsa Kaló, ELTE University, Maria Borcsa, Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences, and Angela Abela, University of Malta in cooperation with national and international colleagues.

The Qualitative Research on Mental Health conference has been established as an international transdisciplinary forum for dedicated qualitative research on a range of topics in the field of mental health, using a variety of methodologies and approaches.

Previous conferences attracted strong international interest from a diversity of backgrounds, including service users, health and social care professionals, social scientists and health policy makers, and created a space for lively and enriching discussions.

SYMVOLI has an ongoing collaboration with QRMH conferences since 2016. Previous conferences took place in Chania, Greece in 2016 (QRMH6), Berlin, Germany in 2018 (QRMH7), and there was also the online QRMH8 in 2021.
