The Panhellenic Informative Event on Thalassemia 2018 provided valuable knowledge to the patients and brought them in direct communication with specialized physicians. Together they discussed the important medical issues of their condition. The event was also the sparking and the motive for the strengthening of the field of Thalassemia in Greece, it focused on the support of the sufferers and their families and raised public awareness about the disease.
