VICKY PAPADIMITRIOU - SYMVOLI
Managing Director
With an academic background on Archaeology & History of Art, and an MA in Cultural Management & Policy, she has been professionally involved in the design and management of events for more than 20 years.
Having previously worked for different cultural organisations in the field of Marketing, Fundraising and Event Planning, she has been leading SYMVOLI’s team since 2012. She has persistently built up the company’s Cultural Management sector, enhanced the range of international collaborations in Europe and USA, and developed innovative projects focused on cultural tourism and cultural planning.
Driven by passion and enthusiasm for project management, she takes a ‘hands on approach’ to leadership and is regarded a creative thinker with a holistic approach to project design, and calmness to problem solving. The key values which underpin her working modus are trust, integrity, and respect by default.
Vicky balances long working hours with valuable time spent with friends, listening to good (jazz) music, travelling and road tripping to new destinations. Most of all, she loves to think life as a non-linear path: latest detour was getting back to studying Museology and doing research on city museums, migration heritage and oral history.
