Managing Director

With an academic background on Archaeology & History of Art, and a masters degree in Cultural Management & Policy, she has been professionally involved in the design and management of events for more than 20 years.

Having previously worked for different cultural organisations in the field of Marketing, Fundraising and Event Planning, Vicky has been leading SYMVOLI’s team and projects since 2012. She has persistently built up the company’s Cultural Management sector, enhanced the range of international collaborations in Europe and USA, and developed over the years innovative initiatives and projects focused on cultural tourism and urban cultural planning.

Driven by passion and enthusiasm for project management, she takes a ‘hands on approach’ to leading her team, and is regarded a creative thinker with a holistic approach to project design, and calmness to problem solving. Her key values which underpin her working modus are trust and integrity, but most of all respect by default.

Vicky balances long working hours with valuable time spent with friends, listening to good (jazz) music, travelling and road tripping to new destinations or endlessly exploring her own city. Most of all, she hates to think life as a linear path: most recent detour was getting back to studying Museology and researching on city museums, migration heritage and oral history.

‘The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.’
