Another lecture was conducted last week by SYMVOLI’s Managing Director, Vicky Papadimitriou, along with Konstandina Mamada, Managing Director of Porto Palace, as part of the American College of Thessaloniki (ACT)’s Graduate Programme on Event Management, instructed by Dr. Prodromos Monastiridis, Head of Marketing and Fundraising of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
Vicky Papadimitriou representing SYMVOLI, has given a series of lectures to various educational programmes in the public and private academic sector. During the last couple of years, SYMVOLI’s Managing Director was invited as a speaker to different courses, mainly on a postgraduate level, related either to project management, MICE industry and conference tourism, or cultural management. In some case, her presence as a guest speaker was also linked to her academic background and research interest in Museology and immigration museums.

Moreover, as General Secretary of Thessaloniki Convention Bureau, Vicky Papadimitriou was invited to be a Jury Member of the “Thessaloniki PhD Hub Hackathon”, and to evaluate student’s proposals regarding specific issues related to Thessaloniki’s touristic development. Thessaloniki Hackathon was organized by the Interdepartmental Program of Postgraduate Studies (D.PMS) “Tourism and Local Development” of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and in the framework of the Erasmus+ “PHDHub” programme.
